Working with Optimity is like being a midfielder in a football team. You must be able both to defend and attack, communicate and coordinate the team in the right direction and from time to time get creative and move the striker into scoring position. Ultimately, you need to be a team player to win the match.
We as an Optimity team are allrounders. Our activities range from challenging the customer to implementing. Here we list some examples; we provide design workshops to define what the process and system set-up will be. We challenge the customer on how they currently work and pinpointing areas they can improve. We translate the design into the system. This means hands-on configuration in SQL, testing, troubleshooting and analysing the outcome. We are able to think outside the box and ask ourselves; How can I visualize the right information? How do I get the right data? Coordination and communication is key when delivering the defined project plan and milestones within time. Furthermore, we present ourself and our expertise throughout different phases of a project, during meetings, giving demos and training.
Our Optimity customers operate mainly in the manufacturing and wholesale industry. We support businesses in improving their decision making throughout S&OP and scheduling. In each project we work with the minimum of two persons where each project member has their own subject. For example, one is focusing on demand planning and the other is focusing on supply planning. Both attend each others’ workshops in order to contribute in understanding the customer challenges and requirements, but also in helping each other out. This allows us to be sparring partner to each other and steer together the project into the right direction.
